Classification of mechanical dust removal equipment

        Mechanical dedusting equipment includes gravity dedusting equipment, centrifugal dust removal equipment and inertial dust removal equipment. The following is a brief introduction of gravity dedusting equipment.
The gravity dedusting equipment is divided into collision type and rotary type. The former is composed of one or more baffles in the direction of air flow, and the dust gas collides onto the baffle to separate the dust particles from the gas. Obviously, the higher the velocity of the gas before it hits the baffle, the lower the collision will be, and the less dust it carries, the higher the dust removal efficiency will be. The latter is to cause the dusty gas to change direction several times and to separate the dust during the steering process. The radius of the curvature of the gas is smaller. The higher the steering speed, the higher the dust removal efficiency.  
        In practical application, the inertial dust removal equipment is usually placed in the first stage of the multi-stage dedusting system to separate the coarse particles. It is especially suitable for dry dust with particle size greater than 10. It is not suitable for the removal of cohesive dust and fibrous dust.


        机械式除尘设备包括重力除尘设备、离心除尘设备和惯性除尘设备,下面以重力除尘设备为例简介 
        重力除尘设备又分为碰撞式和回转式,前者沿是气流方向设一道或多道挡板,含尘气体碰撞到挡板上使尘粒从气体中分离出来。显然,气体在撞到挡板之前速度越高,碰撞后越低,则携带的粉尘越少,除尘效率越高。后者是使含尘气体多次改变方向,在转向过程中把粉尘分离出来。气体转向的曲率半径越小。转向速度越高,则除尘效率越高。 
        在实际应用中,惯性除尘设备一般放在多级除尘系统的第一级,用来分离颗粒较粗的粉尘。它特别适用于捕集粒径大于10μm的干燥粉尘.而不适宜于清除粘结性粉尘和纤维性粉尘。
